Each year we add new bird boxes around the 60acre site. The majority of these boxes have been generously donated by our members who show a keen interest in the bird population.
These boxes provide an essential nesting area for many species of birds, it also provides the opportunity for our visitors to monitor and enjoy the diverse range of native birds that populate the golf course.
Protecting and creating habitats help to encourage bio-diversity. We have many bug hotels around the course in our managed woodland offering a sanctuary to beneficial insects, especially pollinators. A healthy bug population is the keystone to the proliferation of diverse flora and fauna.

Members of a England Golf affiliated golf club are provided with personal liability insurance as part of their membership.
All non-members must have their own personal (public) liability insurance to play on any golf course. Therefore, golfers and visitors at Brailsford Golf Course play at their own risk and are not covered by the course’s own insurance policies.
