The Course

Brailsford is a deceptively challenging test of golf. Ranging from difficult par 3’s in the form of the picturesque tree enclosed 4th and the 8th over water to several around 400 yards par 4’s and a par 5 dog-leg 9th, testing even the most gifted golfer.

Essentially a 12-hole course, the full 18-hole experience off the White Tees is a true test of golf. The par 69 just under 5,900 yards course, although not being overly long, contains interesting and varying types of terrain throughout. Utilising different tee positions for six of the holes, means that holes for the back 6 can vary as much as 80 yards in length.

The par 70 Red course at just under 5,000 yards, is used by the lady members and is also ideally suited to junior golfers or beginners. The Yellow course, at around 5,400 yards is extremely popular for senior golfers as well as being ideal for junior progression and golf societies.

For those wanting a shorter form of the game without losing any of the enjoyment or the test of skill required then the 12-hole layout is ideal, taking just under three hours.
