History

The course was originally designed in 1995 and built by local landowner the late Craig Dalton. In July the following year it opened, initially as a nine hole course.

Following acquisition by Charles Clowes, the current Clubhouse commenced construction in 2001 and opened the following year.

In 2006, following the acquisition of a strawberry farm, further development work took place and the course expanded from nine holes to twelve. The work was carried out by our long serving greenkeeper.

Further work followed with improvements being made with the construction of differing tees for the back six holes to extend the length of the course for those wanting to play the full eighteen holes.

The course is still owned and managed by Clowes Developments (UK) Ltd.
