The Green Agenda

At Brailsford we are constantly inspired by the biodiversity that surrounds us. Sustainability is a key priority and we are conscious of the effect the game has on nature and resources.

We are committed to protecting the biodiversity of our golf course as a legacy for future generations.

Our environmental impact is considered in every decision we make.

Last year we removed all plastic tees from sale and teamed up with our good friends at Ocean Tee.

If you have any ideas that would help us improve our sustainability, get in touch!, We would love to hear from you.

Bird box initiative

Each year we add new bird boxes around the 60acre site. The majority of these boxes have been generously donated by our members who show a keen interest in the bird population.
These boxes provide an essential nesting area for many species of birds, it also provides the opportunity for our visitors to monitor and enjoy the diverse range of native birds that populate the golf course.

Bug hotels

Protecting and creating habitats help to encourage bio-diversity. We have many bug hotels around the course in our managed woodland offering a sanctuary to beneficial insects, especially pollinators. A healthy bug population is the keystone to the proliferation of diverse flora and fauna.

Whether for personal enjoyment, competition or corporate golf days, we welcome all societies and golfers who prefer to pay & play and will ensure everything is done to give you an enjoyable experience.
